In the year 1964 – The KG Traders was established as a proprietorship concern by its Founding Proprietor and later Chairman Mr. Muhammad Khalid, one of the most respected names in the field of trade operations and collateral management (muccadamage business) and a pioneer in the field of collateral management in the banking industry. With his business acumen and unparalleled expertise in collateral management, trade and impex related operations, he spearheaded many initiatives in these fields, introduced new products and launched several successful initiatives whereby instituted first ever banks’ custodian / collateral management setup. He was considered as problem solver , providing solutions to complex issues in the banking industry and their allied customer base and earned unprecedented reputation. He continued to partner with the financial services sector for 43 years until 2007 when he left for eternal abode.
