Pneumatic Actuated Valve

A pneumatic actuated valve is a device that is used to remotely control a valve. If it controls a quarter-turn valve, the actuator is known as a quarter-turn actuator. Instead of a manual lever, you can mount an actuator on the valve to automatically and/or remotely control it. Actuators use a power source to generate the torque that is required to operate (rotate) a ball valve. The difference in this power source makes different designs, which each have different advantages and disadvantages for certain applications. There are several different types of pneumatic actuated valves available. The 3 Way pneumatic ball valve is an automated mechanical device capable of adjusting the position of various types of valves. The actuator itself is a mechanism driven by an external power source to produce a particular motion, which controls the valve position. The motion generated by the actuator can be either linear (straight horizontal or vertical motion) or rotary (revolving around a fixed axis). The 2 Way pneumatic ball valve uses air (or another gas) pressure as the primary power source to produce motion, which, in turn, controls the valve. In the most common type of pneumatic actuator, the diaphragm actuator, the air is pumped into a hollow casing where the resulting pressure acts on a flexible rubber diaphragm to deflect it from its original position.
